Teamed up with a group of U.S. and Kenya Partners to develop projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our focus is on the energy sectors, purchase and sale of commodities such as coffee, the development of ITC projects and international trade.


Silverchair Information Systems

Led the formation of Silverchair’s Program Management Office in three stages, customized to fit within the agile delivery methodology. First, standardized planning, resourcing and time tracking. Introduced tools such as MS Project, Project Server and Tempus resourcing to the organization and simplified delivery in JIRA Agile time tracking. Secondly, clarified roles and responsibilities using the RACI Matrix (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) and empowered Project Managers to own their projects. The third stage was setting up Governance, Change Control, Reporting, Forecasting and Portfolio Management. The PMO is now maturing and successfully tracking projects from the Sales Cycle to Business as Usual (BAU).

Successfully introduced Agile Kanban to the Architecture team and coordinated implementation work between globally distributed teams utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework. Provided detailed dashboards based on delivery metrics on a weekly basis to teams and stakeholders. Used JIRA to manage backlog, Confluence for documentation and Quality Center for Software Quality Assurance (SQA).


Sapient

Started at Sapient as an Associate and fast tracked through the promotion cycles to Manager. Taught Sapient Approach, a customized Agile Scrum methodology every month during new employee orientation. Managed government projects at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). These were custom built multi-function systems replacing 30+ year old legacy systems. Managed Adobe CQ5 Web Content Management (WCM) to replace older Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Sitecore for marketing organizations at United HealthCare and SuperValu to name a few. Managed commercial implementations with large offshore teams located in Bangalore and Mumbai, India.
